Acura CSX

Acura CSX

The CSX began production in 2006, replacing the EL as Acura’s entry-level luxury sedan. The Acura CSX was exclusively designed for the Canadian market and was then chosen as the blueprint for the next generation of Honda Civic. It was initially launched with Touring (base), Premium, and Premium + Navigation packages. In 2007, the CSX Type-S introduced an upgraded engine, 6-speed manual transmission, and differential. An auxiliary jack is standard in 2007 models and later, and leather upholstery, a tire pressure monitoring system, illuminated vanity mirrors, and vehicle stability assist (VSA) were made standard in 2008.

A dressed up version of the classic Civic

Dina Rolland, 02/04/2021

2009 Acura CSX

I’ve heard the saying that the CSX is a dressed-up civic. If that’s true, it sure is designer. The 2.0-liter I4 engine is good for 155 HP and it is the smoothest ride I’ve had. Only downside? Could use more storage. The CSX also comes with an impressive package of tech and mid-luxury options.
