The company started in the early 70s as a service station in Alliston and has been growing ever since and has been able to satisfy customers through new and used vehicle sales and service. With a growing customer base Miedemas Auto Sales expanded several times over the past decades. The original service station was first enlarged with an additional six service bays and later with a showroom and more office space, and during that time acquired a Ford Lincoln franchise. The company also settled with a satellite location in Shelburne in 1987.
